Torrevieja is a coastal town on the southern Costa Blanca, about 45 minutes by car from Alicante-Elche Airport. It is known for its sandy beaches such as Playa del Cura, Los Locos and La Mata, a long seafront promenade and two salt lakes – including the pink lagoon – that form a natural park.
