Dubai Maritime City is a man-made peninsula between Port Rashid and the Dubai Drydocks, close to the historic districts of Bur Dubai and Jumeirah. Originally planned as a maritime business hub, it is now being developed with new waterfront residential towers, many with views of the sea and the Downtown skyline. Downtown and the airport DXB are a short drive away.
